A pale irregularly-shaped cropmark with darker border is visible. Other details: NMR RAF/58/2984 F22 0040-0041 30-JUN-1959.

A pale oval curvilinear cropmark is visible. Other details: DCC GM/089/99 0260-0262 24-JUL-1999.

A probable quarry is visible as a pale cropmark on aerial photographs of 1959. It is not visible on 1880s-1890s Ordnance Survey mapping so extraction activity is likely to have predated the late nineteenth century. A pale curvilinear cropmark visible on aerial photographs of 1999 may be the result of differential drainage around the edge of the quarry pit into the quarry fill.
