An oval hollow visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs from 1946 is interpreted as an extractive pit of unknown date. It is visible as a dark cropmark with paler border, perhaps from differential drainage, on aerial photographs from 1959 and as a diffuse dark cropmark on aerial photographs of 2007. It is possible that it survives as an earthwork.
