Victoria Road Station was built by the Devon and Somerset Railway Company which was formed to link Barnstaple and Taunton. The station closed in 1960, but remains of the platforms can still be seen and the goods shed is still standing.

Victoria Road Station was built by the Devon and Somerset Railway Company which was formed to link Barnstaple and Taunton. It closed in 1960, but remains of the platforms can still be seen and the goods shed is still used by National Carriers Ltd.
