Google Street View show that the roof of the farmhouse is not thatched and instead has roof tiles.

Cottage, circa late 18th century. Roughcast stone rubble cottage. Thatched roof with gabled and half-hipped ends. Two storeys. Two windows range. Small one and two-light casements with glazing bars. Large gabled porch at centre. Rendered chimney stack at gable end.
