Barn approximately 5 metres south - of Underdown Farmhouse.

Barn. Mid - late 19th century, perhaps a little earlier. Local stone and flint rubble; corrugated iron roof, probably slate roof formerly. The barn is built down the hillslope and faces north-east. The barn has central opposing doorways onto the threshing floor and has a hayloft loading hatch in the uphill left end. To right is an open-fronted cartshed under the same roof. The roof has half-hipped to left and hipped to right. It is carried on A-frame trusses with spiked lap-jointed collars. This barn, with other nearby traditional farmbuildings, form a group with the attractive Underdown Farmhouse.
