Amery, P. F. S., 1900-1901, A Tour across Dartmoor into North Devon by the Rev. John Swete 1789, 92 (Article in Serial). SDV18670.

(04/09/1789) Crossing Sandy Park or Dockerman's Bridge, we turned off the road to the right, and passing down a common, arrived opposite Whiddon Park at the usual place of fording.
