Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1953/1982, SX78NW15 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV350414.
(24/10/1953) Probable site of deserted village of Rushford. In the field centred here are obvious indications of the sites of former buildings in the shape of a series of terraces set into the hillside.

This site was considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.
