Full description
Sinclair, E. + Richardson, I., 2015, The Polychrome-Decorated Plank-and-Muntin Screen at Marker's Cottage, Broadclyst, Devon, and its Context, 131 (Article in Monograph). SDV365381.
Tudor Cottage contains the best-presreved later 16th-century screen decoration known in Devon. A large Royal Arms of Elizabeth I, flanked by the letters ER, forms the central motif, with a different design featuring griffons and possibly angels on the other side.
