Lodge to Tracey (q.v.). Probably 1840s, late C20 addition. Whitewashed and rendered, probably stone, with rusticated quoins; slate roof, gabled at ends with shaped bargeboards; axial stack with cluster of 3 rendered shafts. Tudor style. Plan: Sited at the entrance to the main drive (now disused), south of Tracey. 2 cell plan, facing approximately north: the 2 rooms, probably originally parlour and kitchen, heated from back to back fireplaces in an axial stack. A single-storey rear projection provided a small service room; C20 single storey addition at the west end. Direct entrance on the north side into the parlour. Exterior: 2 storeys except for the single-storey rear projection and C20 addition. Original C19 bargeboards and high transomed small pane 2-light casements with glazing bars and hoodmoulds with label stops. Asymmetrical 2 window north elevation with a C20 porch, originally panelled inner door and 2 windows; 1 ground floor window to the left return, 1 first floor window to the right return. The rear projection also has shaped bargeboards and an original window. Interior: Plain with a C20 fireplace to the parlour and an original door between parlour and kitchen. Group value with the gate piers and gate at the entrance to the drive. An attractive Tudor style lodge.
