(10/11/1981) No evidence of an enclosure in a pasture field situated on a slight south-west slope. The AP mark appears most strongly as a dark bank approximately 12m. wide, roughly circular, with an overall diameter of 70m; there is a slight indent in the south-west quadrant (? entrance).
More evidence is required to be certain that it represents something significant, perhaps a hill-slope enclosure of Iron Age date.

Not visible on RAF 1946 photos.
