Three early 19th century houses; now with six shops to the ground floors, shop front to No.2 to the left is late 19th century, others are late 20th century. Painted stucco, slate roofs with stacks to party walls of the original houses, brick to the left, rendered to the right. Double depth plans. Exterior: three storeys; each house has three-window range, except two-window range to No.2. Three/six-pane sash windows to the second floors and six/six-pane sashes to the first floors. The late 19th century shop front of No.2 has moulded plinths to canted bays, moulded frames to plate-glass windows and half-glazed door, all with overlights, continuous heavy modillion cornice to fascia which forms a porch with a panelled soffit. In the wall above the shop are two niches with statues. No.5 has been connected to a former house to the rear in Triangle Place. The mid 19th century facade is stucco with a slate roof. Two storeys; one-window range. It has a moulded bargeboard to a shallow-pitched forward-facing gable, raised quoins and gable band; a semicircular-arched window with a raised surround to the arch, pilasters, moulded caps and pyramidal moulded keystone; two horizontal panes to each horned sash of the window. Twentieth century shop below. Interior: not inspected.
