Two houses with shops on a corner site. Mid 19th century. Painted stucco, continuous slate roof hipped to the left-hand corner with rendered stack to party wall. Double-depth plans with a canted bay to the corner of No.12. Exterior: three storeys; each building three-window range. Rusticated chamfered quoins to the angles; continuous plain eaves band and moulded second and first-floor sill string courses. Pilasters flank three/six-pane sash windows to the second floor and six/six-pane sashes to the first floor which have cornices on consoles. Twentieth century shops. Interiors: of ground floors are altered. Prominent corner site.
