Pair of houses with shops, now including additional flat. Mid 19th century. Painted stucco, freestone coping to parapet and sills, slate roof with stack to party wall. Double-depth plans. Exterior: three storeys; two-bay range. No.10 has late 19th century cast-iron colonnettes with ornate openwork tops to the windows; a moulded cornice to the fascia; a left-of-centre canted bay to the upper floors with plate-glass sashes; lintel bands, that to the right of the first floor is missing. Nos 10A and 10B to the right (one building) has similar upper floors; to the right is a slightly set-back entrance bay with a mid 19th century doorcase with reeded pilasters and entablature, three-pane sidelights and a large overlight of two rectangular panes connected by diagonal glazing bars to the corners. Twentieth century windows. Interiors: not inspected. Form a prominent group of mid 19th century properties with Nos 11 & 12 in Northumberland Place.
