Public house. Mid 19th century. Painted roughcast, slate roof with large rendered lateral stack to rear left, and gable ends. Double-depth plan with single-storey rear extension. Exterior: two storeys; symmetrical three-window range. Six-over-six - pane sash windows to the first floor, the outer windows with margin panes. A moulded cornice and fascia span the facade. Set-back half-glazed double doors with panelled reveals are flanked by large three-light windows with transoms. The left return has a 20th century door set in a doorcase with simple pilasters and entablature, Six-over-six-pane sash windows to the left and a semicircular-arched 20th century casement window to the apex of the gable. Interior: is noted as being altered.
