House and shop. Mid 19th century refronting of a former mid 18th century two-unit cottage, now two houses. Painted stucco, continuous slate roof with rendered stack to left rear gable end. Double-depth plan. Exterior: two storeys; each unit one-window range. Moulded architraves to windows. No.34 to the right has a 4/4-pane sash window to the first floor over a mid 19th century shop front with a moulded cornice to the fascia, half-glazed four-panel door with overlight to the left and a shop window to the right of two rows of five panes, the panes to the far right canting backward. The front range of the right return is blank. The range to the rear has 20th century windows and door. No.35 to the left has 20th century windows, a 19th century four-panel door to the right and a truncated stack to the left. Interior: No.34 includes cob wall between the two ranges; the rear room has a boxed-in crossbeam and the stack rises from this room. No.35 not inspected.
