Memorial brass to John Roope in St Petrock's church, inscribed: "H. of John Roope of Dartmouth marchant borne the first d(aye). D(ied) the 22th. Daye of October 1609". Other details: Plate.

John Roope memorial mistakenly described as being in St Saviour's parish church in Dartmouth. The memorial shows him bare-headed with hands joined in prayer and wearing a ruff, cloak, doublet and hose and shoes with rosettes.
