Full description
Walker, H.H., 1966, The Later Growth of Shiphay Collaton, Torquay, 354 (Article in Serial). SDV362603.
Opposite Sunny Cottage [now Thatchings] in Water Lane is the linhay belonging to Shiphay House. In 1966 it was almost concealed from view by bushes, trees and ivy. This building contains an assortment of historical relics of bygone days including a cider cask.
