Full description

Bone, M., 1973, Barnstaple's Industrial Archaeology, 33 (Monograph). SDV78228.

The firm of Garnish and Lemon, whose work can be seen in many local watermills, are styled 'Flour Milling Engineers' in William White's Directory of 1890. Their premises were at the foot of Pilton Street, in the building with the shallow box windows, now occupied by North Devon Farmers Ltd. Map object based on this source.
