House. Mid/late 19th century. Red brick front with bands of blue brick. Left side and rear walls rendered. Slated roof. Red brick chimney on each side wall; raised bands of blue brick two courses below the top. Left-hand chimney has four old, round red pots. Exterior: three storeys with basement. Symmetrical three window front with centre doorway. Bands of blue brick between the storeys: two courses of entirely blue brick enclosing one in which only the headers are blue. Doorway has chamfered and stopped angles; above it a stone cornice on consoles. Four-panelled door, the two lower panels flush, with incised Grecian pattern; two upper panels moulded and now glazed. Old letter box, possibly original. Plain fanlight. Windows have chamfered jambs and arches; barred sashes, of eight panes in the outer windows and six in the middle. Rear wall has windows with late 20th century plastic frames and glazing bars. Interior: not inspected. Principally included for the contribution of the facade to the streetscape: it retains the scale of the earlier properties on the street, and is a significant element within it.
