House built for the Heathcote estate. Materials: exposed red brick on a low plinth of squared stone blocks. Cast iron window sills. Slated roof, hipped to left end. Brick stacks to rear. Plan: double depth plan. Exterior: two storeys. Three-window front facing east, with doorway in place of middle ground storey window; two window return front to Chapel Street. Cambered arches over eight-paned sashes except for six-paned ones in the middle upper-storey window in the east front. Round-arched doorway with rusticated surround of painted stone or cement, four-panelled door, the two lower panels flush, and fanlight with two radial bars. Interior: not inspected. History: door surround at No.79 similar to those used in the Heathcoat-built houses of the late 1850s in St Paul Street.
