Hole, M. A., 1930, Sketches of Bovey Tracey and District, 59-60 (Monograph). SDV288939.

Site of supposed chapel belonging to the manor of Brimley. Some stones found while forming a leat are supposed to be from the chapel foundations. The farm is called 'Chapple'.
