Circa 1824-5 (title deeds), built as one of a pair with Number 35 (qv). 3 storeys. 2 window bays. Welsh slate roof. Slate-hung, timber-framed front. Entablature with flirted frieze and dentil cornice. Splayed 3-light bay windows rise and second floors with sashes. Later 19th century shop front with console-bracketed entablature with dentil cornice; shop window with columnette-mullions. House doorway at west end with arched fanlight and raised and fielded panel door (citing M. Laithwaite).
