Summary

Chudleigh limestone quarries. The limestone belt from plymouth to chudleigh produced excellent stone which was used for many buildings in plymouth, torquay and newton abbot. Chudleigh quarry is now disused but can be seen from the road. Working limestone quarries can still be found in plymouth.(source uncertain).
