Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Field named as Mills Field (760) on the Fremington Tithe Map and Apportionment. The name suggests a mill stood nearby. The type of mill is unknown but given the location of nearby clayworkings and potteries it is possible that the mill was a pugmill for mixing and kneading clay.
