Number 2 Fore Street (South Side).
Earlier 19th century in Greek Revival style. The east return forms the north end bay of terrace (cf. Numbers 1-3, consecutive, The Plains). Fore Street front, 3 storeys and attic; symmetrical 3 window facade. Welsh slate roof. Stucco with plain pilaster strips between window bays. Plain cornice and pediment with blocking course. Acroteria on quoins. Plain first floor band. Sill bands to second floor windows. Recessed sash windows with glazing bars; architraved second floor window; first floor windows with console-bracketed cornices. Lunette in tympanum, Modem ground floor shop front.
