12 South Street (North side)

Early 19th century cottage. 2 storeys. 2 windows. Welsh slate roof with red brick gable stacks. Rendered limestone rubble. Plain eaves band. Recessed sash windows with glazing bars. Recessed doorway with panelled door. Boarded door to side passage. Abutting south-east corner of the house is broken base of a 13th century medieval column reused as a rubbing post.
