Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Engine House at Abbrook Clay Works marked on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map with a shaft located immediately to the south. Comparison with 20th century mapping shows that the engine house was moved to two other locations during the course of the first half of the 20th century.
