Summary

An oval cropmark ditched enclosure of prehistoric date, with possible associated field boundaries, is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1984 onwards, to the north of Bodley's Plantation, Newton St. Cyres.

Oval single ditch enclosure visible on aerial photographs (p1-3) as a cropmark roughly 76m x 55m. It is butted by two field boundaries running S-N . A further field boundary runs parallel to these, 28m to east. The feature was digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
