NMR, SX89NE44 (National Monuments Record Database). SDV338098.

SX 887975 situated lower down the spur on its north east side about 50M OD (citinig Sainsbury). Complex of at least three conjoined curvilinear enclosures, probably prehistoric (citing Miller).


Cambridge University Collection, 1975, CUC/BTS, 36, 38 (Aerial Photograph). SDV119928.

Three curvilinear enclosures joined to each other show very clearly as cropmarks on CUC aerial photograph. Double ditches of a past field system also show well. Other details: 36 in HER.

Devon aerial photograph shows as Cambridge University photograph with some additional internal features. Most complete enclosure c60m east-west by c90m north-south. Others comparable.

A complex of at least three co-joined curvilinear enclosures, probably of prehistoric date, visible on aerial photographs (p1-4) as cropmarks centred c.150m west-southwest of Ford. Each enclosure is roughly 65m wide and at least 50m long. All are incomplete: some sections appear to be masked, or are not visible in the crop. Within two of the enclosures linear features are visible, running the width of the enclosures. The feature was digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
