Long rectangular building to the south-east of the farmhouse.

Barn approximately 40 metres south-east of Westacott Barton. C17. Plastered cob walls. Corrugated iron roof hipped at left end, gabled to right. Long rectangular plan with 2 threshing floors. Single storey originally with loft. Long asymmetrical front with cart entrances to threshing floors at centre and left of centre which have C17 chamfered wooden frames. Wide doorway at right-hand end and smaller one towards left end. Small thatched leanto against front wall to left of central cart entrance. Interior: 4 original roof trusses survive consisting of straight principals with threaded purlins and collars halved on with notched joints.

The main focus of the 1915 valuer's report was to assess the value of the property for the purposes of Estate Duty. However, as part of this process the report also contains some recent history of the farmstead and a brief description of the buildings.
The Long Barn is recorded as buildings D, G, H and I on a sketch plan. It is described as being of stone and cob construction with a galvanised iron roof and in moderate condition.
The southern section (D) is described as being a Pound House and is likely to have been used for cattle. Section G to the north, used in more recent times as a creamery, was a trap house with a loft above. The main chamber (H) was a barn and the northern section (I) is listed as a calves house.
On the eastern side of the barn the plan shows another building (F) abuttin the main chamber. This is described as a wheel house in fair condition, of open construction with a slate roof. This seems to have been in the loction of the low, stone-faced plinth along the eastern side of the barn. The presence of a wheel house suggests that the barn was a threshing barn.
Two other buildings are also shown on the plan. Building E, to the east of the barn was a bullocks house. Of timber and cob construction with a thatched roof, in poor condition. Building C to the south was a cart linhay of stone and cob construction under a thatched roof, in moderate condition.
