Tower has an unusual buttress arrangement. The exterior of the church has been renewed. Pevsner describes pulpit, 16th century bench-ends and the church plate (pevsner).

The earliest work is the north aisle, the rest of the church is xvi century. Tower is unusual in having buttresses in the middle of the walls. There are five complete windows of partially restored xv stained glass. Some xvi bench-ends (rouse).

Parish church. C15, substantially rebuilt and restored in the late 1870s (church reopened 1879), architect edward ashworth of exeter. Stone rubble with polychromatic detail to the 1870s north wall, bottom stage of tower dressed granite, volcanic, freestone and granite dressings; slate roof with crested ridge tiles.
