The tower has an unusual buttress arrangement. The exterior of the church has been renewed. Pevsner describes the pulpit, 16th century bench-ends and the church plate.

Stone rubble with polychromatic detail to the 1870s north wall, bottom stage of tower dressed granite, volcanic, freestone and granite dressings; slate roof with crested ridge tiles.
