Osa=sx88nw11. (11/06/1953) There are no visible remains of the 15th century chapel, which was presumably a private chapel to Laployd. The farmyard now extends over the chapel site.

A chapel dedicated to Saint Katherine was in existence in 1409 at Laployd Barton (formerly Lapflode), but all trace of it had disappeared by Lysons time.
