Court farm remains of medieval manor house. Vis=16/11/1952 (os). In the attic of the building is a datestone inscribed "1617". The house received its name from the fact that it was used as a courthouse for the trials of smugglers and small cellars remain in the basement. House is constructed of cob and ashlar sandstone, with a roof partly thatch and partly pantiles. Windows comtemporary modern casement and sash types. This featureless house is used during tourist season as a guesthouse, and is otherwise untenanted, though in good state of repair.
