Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, Untitled Source (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV24.
Vis=6/11/1956(os) ancient possibly roman road. The road from churston church to monksbridge is very old and was once marked with stone crosses and had been used as the lych road from christchurch churston ferrers to the cemetery at higher brixham, it is rumoured to be of roman origin. In a newly ploughed field about 6 yards off and parallel to the road is a line of close packed soil about six feet wide.
