Garden walls and gate piers and gates to Medelpad, Dark Lane. Garden walls, gate piers and gates to Medelpad (qv). c1840s. Local stone rubble walls, built up on the rockface in places; smooth-rendered gate piers; cast- and wrought-iron gates. Wall encloses Medelpad garden with garden gate off Dark Lane. Very tall walls, one section rising to form one wall of a small stable block in the rear yard of Medelpad; square section gate piers with projecting string and tiered caps. Gate has middle rail with frieze of roundels and ogee bracing above; spear finials above the top rail.
