White marble inscription tablet set within a mottled marble frame with entablature. Whole is mounted onto a dark coloured backboard. Crown, laurel leaves and banner at the top centre of the backboard.
Inscription in black lettering: FOR GOD KING AND COUNTRY/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN HONOURED MEMORY OF THE MEN OF TAWSTOCK/ WHO DIED FOR THEIR KING AND COUNTRY/ IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919. Followed by the names of the 19 who died.
