Pamment, J., 1986, Parish Survey of Whitestone and Oldridge, 178 (Report - Survey). SDV295504.

Nothing visible on site visits. The 1840 tithe map showed several fields known as Furlong. The use of the term furlong in all these field names point to ridge and furrow being present at sometime although the nature and form of the cultivation cannot be seen. The ridge and furrow could be medieval or narrow rig (a ploughing technique of the 18th/19th centuries).

Young, A. & Turner, S., 2005-2006, North Devon/Winkleigh Biomass Plant National Mapping Programme (NMP) project database records, PRN166597 (Interpretation). SDV358473.
