Full description

Braddick, L. E., 1962, Whitestone and Oldridge, 346 (Article in Serial). SDV294377.

On the end of Waddlesdown is the site of a windmill & in a terrier of of 1602 for Whitestone the patron is Sir William Courtenay. On the Tithe Map of 1840 the area is marked as Windmill Down.
