Summary

Kent's cavern. Three spindle whorls were found in the black mould in the vestibule. One was composed of coarse grit of ellipsoidal form. A groove had been cut around its greatest circumference. The other two were of slate and had numerous ornamental lines.(pengelly). One spindle whorl of dark grey grit found in the black mould.(adams + dewey).
