Kent's cavern. Three chert tools were found in the cave. A. The first was found on 13th april 1865 in the third foot level. It was ovoid in outline and was worked to an edge around the entire perimeter. B. The second was found in the second foot level on 9th may 1865. It was slightly falciform in outline, and the concave margin was thinner than the first. The extremity of the pointed end was broken off after exhumation. C. The third was found on 16th june 1865 in the fourth foot level. An elaborately finished implement, it was lighter in colour and smaller than the other two. In outline it belonged to the same group as a.
