Andrews, J. H. B., 1962, Chittlehampton, 248 (Article in Serial). SDV82648.
Ford Mill, outside the wir weir, has only recently ceased to grind (1962). A water mill, probably 'Schynds Mill' is mentioned in the 1537 manor court roll.
