Fulforde mill. It is mentioned in a charter of the early 14th century, granted to the canons of torre abbey by william de cockington. Scirewell brook ran past the mill. It was pulled down in 1875-1880 to allow the building of 'millbrook' and 'brooklet' villas, which stand in old mill road west of its junction with avenue road.
