Summary
A flint implement was found in 1885 by s. H. Slade in a field adjacent to hope farm house, on the right hand side of the road leading to hope's nose from that house. It was a small perfect specimen (somervail). Vis=13/11/1952(os) hope farm is now destroyed, and parts of the area are built over. This implement is in torquay museum. Vis=greenstone axe. No 1295 (evens et al).
