Full description

Dudley, E. R., 1978, Spanish Jar Handle (Worksheet). SDV338481.

Spanish jar handle, (leng 250mm, widt 50mm, thic 5mm) 16th or 17th century found in June 1978. This type normally has two handles and is rare in the south west. Depth of water 10 to 12 metres.


Anonymous, 1980, Local Finds (Article in Serial). SDV338482.

Jug or jar probably manufactured in Lisbon. Similar examples in Plymouth museum. This find stated to be in Dawlish museum.
