2 Meddon Street. House. Early 19th century; probably a remodelling of an earlier house. Solid rendered front. Steeply-pitched slate roof. Old red-brick chimney on right side-wall, the upper part rebuilt. Two storeys. One window to right of each storey, with doorway to left. Latter has plain surround and flat hood on shaped brackets; panelled door, probably late 20th century. Canted bay window in ground storey, with 6-paned sashes at the front and 4-paned sidelights; flat roof with moulded cornice. Six-paned box-framed sashes in upper-storey window. Sashes in both windows have horns. Moulded board below the eaves.
