3. A quarter shilling of Charles I.
Obverse. 'CAROLVS. DG. M. B. FR. ET. H. REX'
Device: the head of the king to left, III On the right; the Welsh feathers on the left.
Reverse. 'R CHRISTO. AUSPICE. REGNO.
Device: The Royal Arms surmounted by the Welsh feathers.
Probably coined at Aberystwyth.
4. A half groat of Charles I, much defaced; legend on reverse, 'IVSTITIA. THRONVM FIRMAT. '
Both found in the floor of an old house in Landscore Road.
