Summary

Head and footstone. Dated 1781 to Oliver Attwell (c.f Welltown Farmhouse). Slate. Curved heads. Headstone incorporates a carved winged angel's head to either side. The footstone has an hourglass and skulls carved in the head and a laudatory epitaph below.

WALKHAMPTON SX 57 SW 13/125 Attwell head and footstone - approximately 7 metres east-south- east of Church of St. Mary GV II
Head and footstone. Dated 1781 to Oliver Attwell (c.f Welltown Farmhouse). Slate. Curved heads. Headstone incorporates a carved winged angel's head to either side. The footstone has an hourglass and skulls carved in the head and a laudatory epitaph below.
