Full description
An aerial photograph taken in October 1946 shows an experimental “floodlight” standing in a field to the W of Old Southend Road. The concrete base of its generator building can be seen a few yards away to the NE. <1>
The site is now a large grazing paddock. Nothing survives of the floodlight or its base.
