Full description
An aerial photograph taken in May 1946 shows the clear outline of an experimental “floodlight” standing in a rough meadow 100 yards N of Woodhill Road. The base of its generator building can be seen a few yards away to the N. <1>
The entire area has now been built over by an electricity generating station and nothing can have survived of the floodlight site.
