Full description
An aerial photograph taken in May 1946 shows an experimental “floodlight” standing in the corner of a meadow to the E of Chapel Lane. Its generator building can be seen a few yards away to the SE. <1>
Nothing of it now survives although the meadow appears much as it did in 1946.
